Gouverneur is secluded and has no facilities. Colombier can only be reached by boat or on foot. St Jean has its beach clubs, and Shell Beach is a short walk from Gustavia.
High season runs from November to March. The weeks of Christmas and New Year, from 20 December to 5 January, are the most sought after and are best planned months ahead.
