Private ski instructor in Courchevel 1850

TALLI finds the private ski instructor best suited to each skier in Courchevel 1850, whether child, beginner or expert. What matters is not the school, but the perfect match between instructor, level and expectations, in an elegant and safe setting.

In Courchevel, the choice of ski instructor is a key moment of any stay with TALLI. Present alongside clients for much of their time on the slopes, the instructor must combine safety, discretion and professionalism. Each instructor is selected for their sense of responsibility and their capacity to adapt.

The aim is to offer tailor-made guidance, within an elegant and attentive setting. Children, teenagers, adult beginners or accomplished skiers: each profile calls for a specific approach. TALLI also takes care to choose instructors with an intimate knowledge of the Courchevel ski area.

Through its local roots, the team identifies the most suitable profile for every request. What matters is not the ski school, but the perfect match between the instructor and the client's expectations.

What TALLI arranges

  • Private instructors, all levels
  • Individual and family lessons
  • Expert knowledge of the slopes
  • Booking with no queues

Can we get a private instructor during the school holidays?

Yes, but the good slots go early. At Christmas, New Year and in February, private instructors are often booked months ahead, mornings first of all.

Mornings are the most requested time, since that is when snow and light are at their best. Families who book late often do better taking afternoons for the first days than waiting for a morning that will not free up.

How do you choose the instructor?

By the skier, not by the school. Level, age, language and temperament matter as much as technique, especially with children or adults starting again.

An instructor who is excellent with teenagers is not necessarily right for an adult coming back after ten years. Maison TALLI knows the profiles locally and proposes a specific person rather than an anonymous slot. If it does not click in the first half-day, changing early is better than persevering.

Do instructors speak English, Arabic or Mandarin?

French and English are common on the mountain. Arabic and Mandarin exist but stay rare, so they are worth asking for early.

Maison TALLI works in French, English, Arabic and Mandarin and can bridge during the stay when the instructor does not speak the family's language. For children's lessons language matters more than for a confident skier: a child who does not understand the instructions does not progress.

Are lift passes included in the lesson?

No. The pass is separate from the lesson and invoiced to you on its own. It can be prepared before you arrive so nobody queues at the ticket office.

Passes are worth sorting out at the same time as the lessons, because the two follow the same calendar. Which area the pass covers depends on the programme: Courchevel alone, or the whole Three Valleys if the week includes long days across the domain.
